Itinerary

Day

Arrival Kathmandu.

Nepal Luxury Tour starts after your arrival in Kathmandu today. When you arrive at Kathmandu airport, we will be there to pick you up and transfer you to hotel. Once you reach and check into hotel, you will have free time to relax so that you adjust yourself into Kathmandu atmosphere far away from your home. You can take some wanderings around. We will be giving you some guidance on how to do that if you feel the need of.
Later in the evening, we will have trip briefing session. We will let you know the time of meeting on your arrival.

Kathmandu Exploration Day.

Later after breakfast, it is a full exploration day in Kathmandu. We take you for a cultural sightseeing tour of Heritage monuments in Kathmandu valley. We go for an in-depth and guided tour of Swoyambhunath – the ancient most Buddhist stupa in Kathmandu valley; Patan Durbar Square – one of the medieval palace squares in the valley; Pashupatinath - the most important Hindu temple premises with Hindu cremation site; and Boudhanath – the biggest Buddhist stupa in the world.
The day will give you an understanding of the rich cultural, spiritual and historical heritage of Kathmandu valley.

Kathmandu – Chitwan (Flight).

We are flying to Chitwan, which lies 160 kilometers south of Kathmandu, today. The flight is only of 20 minutes that allows us to enjoy the beauty of middle hills of Nepal. Once we land at Chitwan airport, we get into the vehicle that is waiting us to take us to hotel. Once we reach hotel, we will have a short briefing session about the activities in Chitwan before checking in. We will go for the activity that is scheduled for today after lunch.

Chitwan Exploration Day.

We will have a full day of jungle safari activities in Chitwan that will include elephant ride, canoe ride, jungle walk, and visit to elephant breeding center. The jungle safari activities will bring us chance to witness different wildlife like rhinoceros, deer, wild boar, bison, crocodiles, different species of birds and Bengal tiger sometimes. We will also have chance to observe and indulge into the ethnic Tharu cultural show tonight.

Chitwan – Pokhara (Flight).

On the 5th day Itinerary of Nepal Luxury Tour, we are flying to Pokhara from Chitwan. Instead of driving through the bumpy highway, we fly to Pokhara for 20 minutes and reach there to enjoy the overwhelming beauty of the place. Pokhara is naturally beautiful place with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains and greenery around. Lakes and wonderful caves and the views make Pokhara distinctly a beautiful city. We will have time to enjoy the place exploring around. We will drive to world peace stupa to have sunset view, lake, city and mountain view from the top.

Pokhara Exploration.

Our day starts really early in the morning to go for a sunrise tour. We drive for about half hour to Sarangkot to enjoy a spectacular view of Annapurna Himalayan range and a beautiful sunrise over them. After enjoying mountain views and sunrise, we drive back down to hotel in Pokhara to have our breakfast. We have a half day sightseeing tour of Pokhara that takes us to Lake Fewa boating trip, Daivs falls, Gupteswor cave, Tibetan refugee camp visit. Later half of the day will be at leisure having more time to wander around the town; enjoy the adventure sports like paragliding, zip lining etc. at extra cost.

Pokhara – Lumbini (Flight).

We are flying to Lumbini from Pokhara today to explore the birth place of Buddha. A short and beautiful flight takes us to Bhairahawa airport and then we have to drive for about half hour to Lumbini. The drive will let us enjoy the rural beauty of the southern Nepal. We will go for some exploration of the villages and places of cultural and historical importance around Lumbini.

Lumbini Exploration.

We get ready for a wonderful and full day exploration of the birth place of Buddha. It is a great spiritual pilgrimage to the place where the founder of Buddhism was born in. We first head to the Sacred Garden and Mayadevi Temple to pay homage to the Buddha. This is the place where the Shakyamuni Buddha breathed his first earthly air. We visit the temple and pray. Later, we can sit peacefully on meditation in the Sacred Garden by the Pushkarini – the sacred pond. After spending quality time in the Sacred Garden, we set out on the exploration of the Lumbini monastic zone. Monasteries from different countries around the world enlighten us about different Buddhist traditions in practice in the world. We pay sacred visits to World Peace Flame, World Peace Stupa and other wonderful and sacred sites in the zone. It is a day full of spiritual and historical exploration about Buddha, his life and his teachings.

Lumbini – Kathmandu (Flight).

We are flying back to Kathmandu from Lumbini today. 45 minutes of flight allows us to enjoy the view of snow-capped mountain peaks if the weather is clear. Once we reach Kathmandu, rest of the time of the day is at leisure on our own.

As the final day of Nepal Luxury Tour, it’s time to say good bye. We will transfer you to airport for your final departure flight as per your flight schedule.
