You will be able to get a magnificent view of mighty Everest as well as the surrounding Himalayas Peaks with eight thousanders Lhotse, Makalu, Kanchanjungha during this entire trek.

This trekking trail will take you through Sherpa inhabitant and dense forest. This trekking trail is easy, so that almost everyone who is physically fit can start and complete this trek. During this trek, you will hike up to the altitude of 4,067 m from where you will be able to get a panoramic view of different mountain ranges as well as sunrise. You will hike through dense rhododendron forest passing through Sherpa settlement. During the trek, you can interact with the local Sherpa community people and know about the local culture and lifestyle. Also, during this trek, you will be able to visit different ancient monasteries, which were built around different time period. During the festival season, you will witness the monks and nuns worshiping and doing the daily rituals. People from surrounding village come here to witness these events.

Best Season for Pikey Hill Trekking 2024

September to November and March to May is considered as best season to trek in this region. The weather in this season is considered to be good as it won't be much hot or cold. During spring season (March to May), plants regenerates to bloom new flowers, making this trail even more beautiful. As it is a per-monsoon season, you will be able to see different types of rhododendron blooming during this entire trek.

You do not have to worry about the food and accommodation during this trek. there are lots of tea houses and guesthouses throughout the trail, which will provide you a basic service. They have laundry, hot and cold shower, extra blankets, but you have to pay extra to get these facilities.

Basically Pikey Hill Trekking is A 8 day trek with extra 2 days of drive. Trekking starts from Dhap. We will drive from Kathmandu to Dhap to start our 8 Days Pikey Hill Trek. Basically, we will walk for about 6-7 hours in average during this entire trek. However Classical Pikey Hill Trek itinerry starts form Shivalaya, we will trek up to reach Bhandar and then to Namkheli to Ngamor Gompa to Pikey Hill and descend to Jun Besi, Thutungch heli monastery to Sete via Lamazura pass to Bhandar then to Shivalaya and finally drive to Kathmandu.
