Karsang Sherpa is a passionate trekker and outdoor enthusiast who was born and raised in the Lower Everest region of Nepal called Solu. Growing up in the shadow of the towering Himalayas, Karsang developed a deep love and appreciation for the natural beauty of the area and its many trekking trails.
After completing his education, Karsang decided to pursue his passion for trekking and outdoor adventure by joining Trekking Trail Nepal in the year 2015. As a member of Zero Rescue with 100% Success Company, Karsang has worked tirelessly to promote responsible trekking and preserve the natural beauty of the Himalayas. His expertise and experience as a senior trekking guide are highly valued by his colleagues and clients alike even with top-level management of Trekking Trail Nepal. He is known for his friendly and approachable demeanor, his deep knowledge of the region's geography and culture, and his commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.
Karsang is a true adventurer at heart, and he has completed many challenging treks throughout the Himalayas, including the base camps of Mount Everest, Makalu, and Annapurna. Among many, Short Manaslu Circuit Trek is his favorite one. He is always eager to share his knowledge, respect, and passion with others, and he takes great pride in introducing travelers to the many wonders of the region he calls home.
In his free time, Karsang enjoys exploring new rural trails, sharing the history of how tourism changes the lifestyle, and spending time with his family and friends doing sustainability agriculture in his home region along with Buddhist worship. He is a true ambassador for the beauty and adventure of the Himalayan Trekking Trail, and his dedication to responsible trekking has earned him the respect and admiration of those who know him.
