You will be trekking up to an altitude of 4650 m to the base camp. This teahouse trek will take you through some of the beautiful villages like Birethanti, Poon Hill, Ghorepani, Tadapani, Chhomrong, Dovan, Macchapuchre Base Camp and then to Annapurna Base Camp.

2. Annapurna Circuit: Complete Circuit Trail of Annapurna

Annapurna Circuit trek is a 20+ day trek is one of the longest treks here in Annapurna region. But due to the construction of road, this trek has been now reduced to less than 15 days.  You can also opt to trek from Besisahar rather than taking a jeep if you have enough time and want to spend more time trekking.  This teahouse trek will take you up to an altitude of 5416 m which is Throng La Pass. 3. Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek: Easy and Popular Trekking Trail

One of the easy and short treks in this region is Ghorepani Poon Hill trek.  This trek is famous for the sunrise view from Poon Hill (3210 m). This trek will take you through some of the ethnic community like Gurung and Magar community. Trek starts from Nayapul to Ulleri to Ghorepani to Poon Hill and back Tadapani, Ghandruk, Pothana and Phedi.

4. Mardi Himal: Virgin and Short Adventure Trail

This recently opened trek offers a magnificent and close view of Mt. Fishtail. This week long trek will take you to an altitude of 5416 m. Being recently opened trek, this trekking trail has few tea houses and guesthouses. Also, this trail has a very less visitors. So if you want to avoid a crowd during the trek, then this trek might be one of the options to choose from. Trekking trail starts from driving to Kande from Pokhara and then trekking to Pothana, Forest camp, Low camp, High camp, then to Mardi Himal base camp. Due to its beauty and short duration, this relatively easy trek is gaining popularity among the local as well as foreign trekkers.

5. Upper Mustang Trek: Ancient Trail of Buddhism and Nepal-Tibet

One few years back, this Upper Mustang is opened for the trekkers. This is a restricted area, so one must obtain a special permit to enter. Mostly influenced with the Tibetan culture, you will see century old monasteries, chortens, palace, mani wall, painting and prayer wheels and flags during the trek. Tiji festival is one of the major attractions of this place.
