Day 01: Arrival in Kathamandu.
Arrival at Kathmandu International Airport and transfer to hotel after meeting the representative of Trekking Trail Nepal. We will brief you about our program on the way to the hotel. A welcome dinner and then overnight stay at a hotel in Thamel.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Koshi Tappu via Biratnagar.
Drive or fly from Kathmandu to Biratnagar. After arrival, you will be presented with a brief introduction of the facility and program. The days' attractions include bird watching in the marshland outside the reserve to see the strokes, ibises, and snipes.
Day 03: Kossi Tappu and Koshi River exploration.
After breakfast, you set out for a full day excursion on the boat and four-wheel drive with packed lunch to see waders, waterfowl, birds of prey, marsh crocodile, otters, wild water buffalo and Gangetic dolphins including a visit to Pink Tower.
Day 04: Koshi Tappu excursion.
After a wholesome breakfast, you go for bird watching inside the reserve in the scrub forest, grasslands and wetland habitat with lunch packs to see swamp partridge, black-necked stork, buntings, bulbuls etc. In the afternoon you can either continue bird watching till dusk.
Day 05: Back to Kathmandu, city of Temple.
Early morning you can either enjoy bird watching around the camp area or have leisure walk. After breakfast, you depart for Kathmandu.
Day 06: Final Departure
Last day of the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Tour. After having breakfast, transfer to the airport at least before 3 hours of the scheduled flight.
