As our Mardi Himal Yoga Trek starts from Pokhara, your first day of the trip will be in Pokhara. Once you arrive and check into the hotel in Pokhara, we will have a trip briefing meeting. All your questions regarding the trip will be answered with the necessary help for the trip preparation. You will have some free time to wander around.
We will have an early morning, revitalizing yoga session before breakfast. It's the first day of our trek, so we check out the hotel after breakfast to drive for about forty minutes to Kande. And the trekking adventure begins now, and we start walking towards our overnight place for today, Pothana.
The first-day Itinerary of walking the Mardi Himal Yoga Trek adventure will be an easy, beautiful and short walk for us today through a peaceful forested trail. We trek to the destination via Australian camp and can enjoy a beautiful view of snow-capped mountain peaks in addition to the lovely nature walk.
Today is the second day of the Mardi Himal Yoga Trek adventure. We start the day with an early morning, refreshing yoga session in nature. Later, after breakfast, we prepare to leave for the next destination. We are trekking to Rest Camp today via Pittam.
Deurali and Forest Camp:
It's another day of quiet nature walk through the beautiful forest on most of the stretch. A nice and calm forest walk brings us closer to the wonders of nature. The trail traverses gorgeous rhododendron forest and other trees, and the walk is spiritually uplifting. Finally, we reach Rest Camp to stay overnight and practice yoga and meditation.
If the weather is clear, our early morning wakes up will be nicely welcomed by the spectacular view of Mt. Fishtail and Mardi Himal. Sunrise from behind the Mt. Fishtail ridge is a spectacular sight to observe as we practice our yoga.
We start the trek of about 3 hours to Badal Danda via Low Camp after breakfast. Badal Danda is our overnight place and a suitable place to acclimatize before heading higher up the next day. As we reach our overnight camp early in the afternoon, we will have plenty of time to observe the spectacular views of the surroundings and mountains. In addition, we will have a revitalizing yoga and meditation session amidst the natural and beautiful surroundings.
We wake up for a refreshing morning and join yoga practice with breathtaking views of mountains and surroundings if weather permits.
After yoga and relishing the mountain breakfast treat, we prepare to leave Badal Danda for High Camp, which is only about two hours of walk. We are pretty high above the lush tree line, so we will find trees turning into the bushy forest now. Landscapes get more grassy pastures and cliffs. Finally, we reach High Camp to find ourselves enough time to wander around to get used to breathing at the altitude and enjoying mountains' views. High camp is our highest overnight camp for the Mardi Himal Yoga Trek Adventure. We will have a beautiful afternoon yoga and meditation session with the background of mighty mountain views.
It's a pretty early morning wake-up for us. We get ready for the hike to the viewpoint and then base camp at around 4 in the morning. We will need the help of a flashlight as it is much earlier than the break of dawn.
A well-paced hike through a narrow trail up the hill brings us closer towards the viewpoint, and slowly the dawn starts breaking to expose snow-capped mountains to us. Finally, we reach sunrise's viewpoint and find a breathtaking view of Himalayan peaks in the Annapurna range. A short and refreshing yoga session at the perspective is well worth doing. Magnificent and magical energy from the mountains will enhance our yoga practice. Later, we hike further to the Mardi Himal base camp, our ultimate destination of the trip.
The hike back down to high camp is a slow-paced careful walk through a narrow trail and with lots of beautiful moments to cherish. The round trip from high center to base camp and back will be of about five hours. Next, we trek down to Low Camp to stay overnight after taking lunch at High Camp. Finally, we will enjoy a lovely yoga and meditation session in the evening at Low Camp.
We wake up for another nice view of Fishtail and enjoy our yoga practice. We leave Low Camp after breakfast to head down towards Siding village. The trail to Siding passes through a beautiful forest. The section between Siding and Ghalel is a lovely cultural walk through villages. Ghalel village, in itself, is a stunning cultural hub for a mountain ethnicity.
We can explore Ghalel village once we reach there and enjoy the homestay experience's incredible hospitality.
Early morning, wake up to enjoy our final day yoga session as we are on the trip's final day. After breakfast, we start on the trail enjoying the last leg of the walking journey to Lumle, where we take a jeep ride from. The jeep ride to Pokhara will be of about one hour. Once we help you check in at the hotel, the trip comes to an end.
The eight days of incredible Mardi Himal Yoga Trek adventure brings happy, blissful, and beautiful moments to cherish in life.
